We are looking to grow our team and fill the position of Facility Engineer. As Facility Engineer, you will lead the maintenance team and oversee repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and machinery reliability to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will contribute to overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by implementing best practices in maintenance and reliability, reducing downtime, and optimizing equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Maintenance Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and reports using a CMMS to ensure optimal equipment performance.
    • Coordinate reactive and preventive maintenance activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime.
    • Manage equipment and infrastructure maintenance work.
    • Oversee contractors handling maintenance tasks.
  2. Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and implement process improvements in maintenance procedures.
    • Work with engineering and production teams to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
    • Drive initiatives to increase OEE and reduce unplanned downtime.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Use data analytics tools, including CMMS, to assess equipment performance and identify improvements.
    • Generate reports on reliability and maintenance KPIs, and recommend improvements.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history.
  4. Environmental, Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Support compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA standards.
    • Promote safety initiatives and accident prevention activities.
    • Prepare and maintain facility compliance reports.
  5. Training and Development
    • Provide training on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
    • Develop team skills and stay informed on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in maintenance and reliability engineering in manufacturing, with knowledge of boilers, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
  • Strong preventive maintenance and reliability principles knowledge.
  • Excellent mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and related standards.
