Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager of Facilities Management in Bentonville, AR to lead oversight of facility operations, optimize mechanical systems, and drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across campus buildings.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and guide associates to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective facility enhancements aligned with corporate real estate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years in energy engineering, HVAC and building operations required.
• Experience with BAS systems and HVAC equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and sustainability frameworks preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of facility operations and energy performance initiatives.
• Track and report energy, water, and carbon metrics across campus.
• Identify and quantify energy conservation measures (ECMs).
• Support Building Performance Standards compliance and reporting.
• Troubleshoot HVAC performance and review BAS/SCADA trends.
• Coordinate with facilities, contractors, and commissioning agents.
• Support Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx) activities.
• Maintain commissioning documentation for LEED and internal standards.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or related fields

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
