Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical electrical training preferred.
• 6–8 years of prior electrical experience.
• Able to read/write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English.
• Able to work safely at heights and in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass background check and drug testing per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment and fixtures with hand/power tools.
• Diagnose faults using test equipment; repair wiring and fixtures as needed.
• Inspect systems for hazards and code compliance.
• Test circuits with ohmmeters, voltmeters and scopes for safety.
• Plan layout and installation based on specs and local codes.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts or roofs to install/repair wiring.
• Complete work orders and log results in the computer system.
