Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Alameda is seeking a California Certified Electrician to lead electrical projects and contribute to facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in low to high voltage electrical systems, and the ability to carry out both electrical and non-electrical tasks. This dynamic role requires a flexible approach, as responsibilities may vary in a fast-paced environment. Competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial or commercial electrical wiring, maintenance, and repair.
• Demonstrated experience working with 480/277V and 208/120V systems; high-voltage experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and work at elevated heights (up to 50+ feet).
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems across all voltages.
• Execute full electrical service upgrades and wiring for new mechanical equipment.
• Maintain and repair Switchgear, UPS Backup Systems, Standby Generators, and Building Grounding Systems.
• Perform non-electrical tasks including HVAC systems and plumbing repairs.
• Participate in on-call rotations to address facility outages or urgent repairs.
