Job summary
A leading aerospace company in Alameda is seeking a California Certified Electrician to lead electrical projects and contribute to facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in low to high voltage electrical systems, and the ability to carry out both electrical and non-electrical tasks. This dynamic role requires a flexible approach, as responsibilities may vary in a fast-paced environment. Competitive salary and benefits are included.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial or commercial electrical wiring, maintenance, and repair.
Demonstrated experience working with 480/277V and 208/120V systems; high-voltage experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and work at elevated heights (up to 50+ feet).
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR regulations.
Responsibilities
Lead the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems across all voltages.
Execute full electrical service upgrades and wiring for new mechanical equipment.
Maintain and repair Switchgear, UPS Backup Systems, Standby Generators, and Building Grounding Systems.
Perform non-electrical tasks including HVAC systems and plumbing repairs.
Participate in on-call rotations to address facility outages or urgent repairs.
