The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial/industrial electrical work, a Tennessee license, and strong knowledge of electrical theory and NEC standards. This position is on-site in Memphis with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• The Electrician must have a high school diploma or GED and formal electrical training.
• Three+ years as an electrician in commercial/industrial settings, ideally in transit/public sectors.
• Current Tennessee journeyman or master electrician license.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and NEC requirements.
• Proficiency with test equipment and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and lighting in transit facilities.
• Maintain interior and exterior lighting, including energy-efficient and security lighting.
• Support charging infrastructure and control systems for vehicles.
• Inspect systems for hazards and ensure NEC/local code compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues using meters and diagnostic tools; read blueprints.
• Coordinate with other trades and document maintenance actions.
