Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care is seeking a Facilities Manager at its Riverton, Utah facility. You will direct the Maintenance Department, manage budgets, and ensure Life Safety Code compliance while coordinating with administrators and supervising the maintenance team.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of supervisory maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of electrical/HVAC systems and blueprints is essential, with SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in maintenance/plant.
• Licensed in accordance with applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
• Previous experience as a Facilities Manager with a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care Facility preferred.
• Working understanding of electrical systems, HVAC systems, and various mechanical and architectural systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and Life Safety Code requirements.
• Prepares operating and staffing budgets for maintenance and monitors monthly.
• Ensures maintenance staff are trained on safety policies and procedures and supervises preventative and unplanned maintenance.
• Reads blueprints to monitor upkeep of electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
• Coordinates outside vendors and ensures work is completed per contracts and work orders.
• Maintains facility compliance with safety, building codes, and OSHA requirements.
