Job summary

Genesis in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well‑maintained surroundings for patients and residents. You will lead the maintenance team and report to the Nursing Home Administrator, ensuring compliance with laws and high standards of upkeep.

Responsibilities include repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems; maintaining fire alarms and generators; keeping records and budgets; and staying on-call 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVACR systems.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Supervise the maintenance department and orient new staff.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems.
• Prepare and maintain records; assist with budget planning.
• Remain on-call for emergencies 24/7; perform Life Safety tasks on the TELS platform.
