Job summary

The Neighborhood at Auburn, a Phoenix Senior Living community, is seeking a Facilities Director to lead all facilities management operations including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security to meet regulatory standards and internal policies.

The role reports to the Executive Director and requires coordinating with external vendors, supervising staff, and ensuring timely maintenance, safety and cost controls across the campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management.
• 3+ years facilities experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, develops and leads facilities management operations.
• Oversees maintenance tasks including minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Directs emergencies and liaises with executives and external vendors.
• Monitors maintenance requests and coordinates large-scale projects with consultants.
• Supervises timekeeping and payroll related to facilities staff.
• Trains staff on safety, emergency protocols and housekeeping procedures.
• Manages department recruitment, hiring, training, coaching and performance discipline.
• Attends departmental and executive meetings as required.
