Aramark is seeking a Facilities Director to lead the facility management and engineering teams in Houston. You will apply technical expertise to evaluate operating programs, measure performance, and implement improvements that align with Aramark SOPs and client standards.

You will drive adherence to safety, regulatory requirements, and client expectations while managing vendor relationships and a team of 10–15 hourly staff.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, complying with ARAMARK standards and client requirements.
• Delivers strong operational performance by meeting ARAMARK, client, and regulatory standards and programs; develops action plans to maintain proactive, safe facilities.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance by local authorities.
• Oversees site utility systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, energy management, fire and life safety, grounds.
• Manages vendor relationships and performance.
• Oversees a staff of 10–15 hourly associates.
• Interacts with Client Management to maintain relationships and identify service expansion opportunities.
• Provides direction and manages performance for Facility and Maintenance Supervisors; supports employee development.
• Develops component forecasts and explains variances; oversees accounting and capital budget.
• Ensures use of workorder management systems and contract compliance.

Job Description

The Facilities Director leads the facility management departments and applies technical expertise to evaluate Aramark's operating program standards, measures performance and recommends solutions in order to enhance or improve operations. Drives adherence to Aramark program standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Operations and Maintenance. Conducts research on the facilities industry to help Aramark remain competitive and innovative. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to facility management.

Job Responsibilities

• Plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services and compliance with the standards established by ARAMARK, regulatory agencies and client.


• Delivers strong operational performance by executing against Aramark, client, government and other regulatory agency standards and programs, continually monitoring operations and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide an optimal, proactive, safely operating facility maintenance program which drives patient satisfaction


• Ensures compliance with appropriate safety and regulatory standards by appropriate local agencies


• Oversight of all site utility systems to include electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, water treatment, energy management, fire safety, life safety and grounds


• Vendor management


• Oversee a staff 10-15 hourly associates


• Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting rounding. Identifies Aramark service expansion opportunities


• Provides overall direction and manages performance for all Facility and Maintenance Supervisors and front-line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards, including conducting applicable rounding


• Develops operational component forecasts and can explain variances


• Responsible for component's accounting functions and capital budget program


• Ensures consistent application and regular use of Aramark's workorder management systems to properly manage the operation


• Ensures compliance with all contract obligations

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of facility/Manufactuing maintenance management experience


• Knowledgeable of all regulatory compliance requirements


• Strong leadership abilities


• Requires Budgeting experience


• Working knowledge and appropriate preventive maintenance of building systems (i.e., boilers, chillers, generators, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC/R)


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong analytical skills


• Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly


• Microsoft office programs


• Creative and flexible in demeanor and style to adapt to new situations in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment
