Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Civil CAD Designer Level II to join our engineering team on Merritt Island, FL. The role focuses on developing and maintaining complex site designs for manufacturing campuses using AutoCAD Civil 3D, with an emphasis on accuracy, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination.

Ideal candidates will have experience in industrial site design and strong civil engineering fundamentals, supporting project teams from concept through construction documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the civil engineering or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with demonstrated experience in complex site design.
• Experience designing industrial sites, particularly manufacturing campuses.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Develop site layout plans, grading plans, utility plans, and details for industrial manufacturing facilities
• Perform earthwork calculations, corridor modeling, and surface creation
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design compliance
• Review and validate design drawings for quality assurance
• Prepare construction documentation packages
• Support project teams throughout the design process
• Maintain organized digital drawing files and documentation

We are seeking an experienced Civil CAD Designer Level II to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop and maintain complex industrial site designs for manufacturing campuses. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
