Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Data Management Analyst to support the CMMS data systems for the Facilities Services Department, covering over 30,000 assets and more than 7 million square feet of hospital, outpatient, laboratory and office space.

Under supervision, you will manage CMMS data, perform audits, generate compliance and operational reports, and upload data from external sources including BIM, while supporting data modifications as directed by

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MIS/CS or related field preferred.
  • Two years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • CMMS experience desired.
  • Facilities operations and maintenance knowledge desired.

  • Day-to-day data management of the CMMS database.
  • Inventory of physical assets and implement preventive maintenance schedules; ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic audits of CMMS data for accuracy.
  • Generate reports for compliance and operational scorecards.
  • Format and upload data from external sources including BIM sources.
  • Support modification of data as directed by managers and directors.

Scope of Position

The Ohio State University Medical Center is committed to enhancing the quality of care provided to patients. Under general supervision from the Director of Engineering and Compliance, the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Data Systems Analyst provides systems information support to the Facilities Services Department.

Position Summary

The CMMS Data Management Analyst provides support for the OSUWMC CMMS system consisting of over 30,000 assets covering 7M+ square feet of hospital, outpatient, laboratory, and office space.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include day-to-day data management of the CMMS database.
  • Responsibilities include, but not limited to physical asset inventory, implementation of preventative maintenance schedules, and ensures accuracy of the data within the system.
  • Conduct periodic audits of the data within the system to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate reports for compliance and operational scorecards and evaluate to ensure they are correct and complete.
  • Format and upload data from multiple external sources including project Building Information Modeling (BIM) sources.
  • Supporting modification of data as directed by managers and directors.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications For Hire: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant field.
  • Preferred: Two years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Excellent Communication Skills Customer service and/or public relations skills.
  • Experience with CMMS systems desired
  • Experience with facilities operations and maintenance organizations desired.
