Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services Group is seeking a custodial/maintenance worker to perform day-to-day cleaning and basic maintenance across facilities in Mount Holly, NJ. After initial training, you will fill in for various areas as needed and operate equipment typical of custodial, food service, and grounds maintenance.

You will handle cleaning chemicals per OSHA NFPA standards, replace bulbs and diffusers, assist with fire drills, open/secure buildings, and support events.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day cleaning tasks across assigned areas.
• Fill in for areas on a day-to-day basis after training across all areas.
• Operate equipment typical for custodial, food service and grounds maintenance (vacuums, buffers, power washers, lawn mowers, tractors, maintenance tools, computers).
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals per OSHA, NFPA and Right to Know regulations.
• Replace light bulbs and diffusers.
• Assist with fire drills.
• Open and secure assigned buildings.
• Maintain grounds: cut grass, plant flowers/shrubs, install mulch.
• Remove snow and ice when required.
• Assist maintenance staff with project work as needed.
• Make minor repairs of furniture, equipment and structures; ensure equipment is maintained and secured.
• Assist with special events.
