Job summary

Midland Christian School is seeking a dedicated custodial staff member to maintain cleanliness, safety and functionality of the middle school facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, and assisting with events.

Reports to the Director of Facilities; requires a high school diploma or GED, custodial experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must embody the school’s faith and values and be reliable and team-oriented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must align with the school's Faith and Vision.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willing to climb ladders and work around students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Sanitize restrooms and disinfect common areas regularly.
• Empty and sanitize waste bins and manage trash.
• Dust surfaces, clean windows, and wipe desks and furniture.
• Assist with setup/cleanup for school events and activities.
• Collaborate with staff to coordinate cleaning schedules.
