Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to client specifications and may involve various buildings. Pay is $13 per hour with a schedule of Mon-Sun 6a-11a.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entry areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste appropriately; operate compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with proper cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Restock paper products and sanitary supplies; follow housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as required (floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers).
• Perform additional duties as assigned by scope of work or client needs.
