Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Property Janitor to join a growing and dynamic team in Honolulu, HI. This is not a remote role and applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position involves removing trash, sweeping, maintaining parking areas, cleaning elevators and lobby areas, and providing coverage as needed. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm with a fixed pay rate of $19/hour. Prior janitorial, cleaning, or maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and complete daily cleaning assignments.
• Professional and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of trash, recycling, and cardboard.
• Sweep loading areas, building perimeter, sidewalks, entrances, driveways, and stairwells.
• Maintain the cleanliness of parking garage areas and elevator landings.
• Clean and polish elevators, including floors, tracks, walls, and surrounding areas.
• Wipe down handrails, parking equipment, ticket machines, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Clean and maintain visitor parking areas.
• Inspect and maintain grass and plants around the building.
• Clean exterior glass windows and doors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Clean and maintain the lobby, mailroom, and other common areas.
• Provide relief coverage for other stations when needed.
• Perform other general cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
