Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a High School Degree is preferred; progressive experience acceptable.
• Experience with custodial maintenance and knowledge of heating, boilers, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read policies and safety regulations; proficient with basic PC software.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to staff under supervision and inspect completed tasks.
• Maintain security by checking doors, windows, and occupancy; report suspicious activity.
• Take charge of emergencies and coordinate with supervisors for corrective action.
• Perform custodial services across buildings and grounds, including floor care and clean tasks.
• Replace lighting and HVAC filters; snow removal and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Create work orders and use work order system.
