Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain clean, safe, and orderly facilities. The role performs routine cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, and basic maintenance to keep offices presentable and functional.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and common areas, floors, restrooms, waste disposal, restocking supplies, and reporting issues to management. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of time management and task prioritization.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication.
• Able to lift or move 25 lbs or greater.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, lobbies, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and mirrors.
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffers safely.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and sanitation regulations.
• Secure the building after cleaning when assigned to evening or overnight shifts.
