Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance in Kaneohe, Oahu, HI is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities such as schools, offices and medical buildings. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and restroom sanitation, with light maintenance as needed.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week and a schedule of Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must pass prescreen check.
• Previous custodian or cleaning experience preferred.
• Willingness to train.
• Valid Hawaii Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and dust surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Pressure wash areas as needed.
• Empty recycling bins and trash receptacles; restock supplies.
• Set up or break down furniture for events; ensure areas are secure after cleaning.
• Report maintenance issues; maintain clean planters and landscape areas.
