Job summary

ACI Jet is seeking a Facility Custodian to perform daily cleaning of all facilities and maintain high standards of safety and quality. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow established procedures.

The ideal candidate is able to lift up to 50 pounds, work nights, weekends and holidays, and hold a valid driver’s license while communicating in English. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily detailed cleaning of all facilities.
• Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning duties.
• Observe appearances and conditions of facilities and report needed repairs, safety hazards, or service needs.
• Use company vehicle to retrieve supplies and materials for duties.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Ensure all maintenance requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in SQMS program to ensure safety and quality.

Job description

Summary: The Facility Custodian position is responsible for performing all facility custodial duties. The ideal candidate will perform these tasks while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients by personally performing these duties or through subordinate staff members.

Reports To: The Facility Custodian will report directly to the Facilities Lead Porter.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily detailed cleaning of all ACI Jet facilities
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties
• Observes appearances and conditions of facilities and reports needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring service to Facilities/GSE Lead
• Use company vehicle to retrieve supplies and materials necessary for completion of duties
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Ensures all ACI Jet maintenance requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensures the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively and positively participating in ACI Jet’s SQMS program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, sit, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

• Facility Custodial Experience (1+ years)
