Neumo in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Technician to keep the facility safe, functional, and presentable. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and manage supplies while working with vendors and management to keep systems operating at peak performance.
The role requires hands-on maintenance ability, independence, and attention to detail. Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be needed to address urgent needs and ensure safety.
The Maintenance and Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall safety, functionality, and appearance of the facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by performing routine preventive maintenance, responding to repair requests, and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the building and its systems. This includes inventory of, stocking, and ordering facility supplies.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, hands-on individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues in a timely manner. This person must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members, vendors, and facility management to ensure all building systems and equipment are operating at peak performance.
This role requires flexibility, as the employee may be called upon to respond to urgent or after-hours & weekend maintenance needs. A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to facility care are essential qualities for success in this position.
This position operates in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, including mechanical rooms, utility areas, production floors, and general building facilities. The work environment can change daily based on the needs of the facility.
