Rocket Lab’s Middle River, MD campus seeks a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to lead CMMS implementation and support daily facilities operations. The role supports the Facilities Manager with maintenance coordination, vendor relations, and project administration.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field with 2 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment or a HS diploma with 6 years’ relevant experience. Proficiency in ERP systems and JIRA is favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of facilities maintenance coordination experience in aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• OR High School Diploma with 6 years of facilities maintenance coordination experience in similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of internal CMMS system (Infor LN service module).
• Coordinate maintenance support to ensure optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Assist with vendor and contractor coordination & scheduling.
• Provide project management support for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety and waste management projects.
• Assist in development plans for facilities modifications focusing on scope, schedule and budget.

FACILITIESMAINTENANCECOORDINATOR

Based on site at Rocket Lab in Middle River, MD, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for spearheading the implementation of our CMMS facilities maintenance software and other administrative tasks while supporting various improvement projects at Rocket Lab's Space Structures Complex. You will support the Facilities Manager and Facilities Maintenance Lead with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

• Oversee the implementation of our internal CMMS system– through Infor LN’s service module
• Assistwith facilities maintenance coordination and administrative tasks as it relates to janitorial, building/grounds, maintenance, repair, and update/upgrade activities
• Administrative support for major facility renovations / construction projects
• Coordinate maintenance support to ensure theoptimalfunctioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment
• Assistin vendor and contractor coordination & scheduling
• Project management support involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
• Assistin the development plans for facilities modifications and improvements with the focus on scope, schedule, and budget
• Ensures that project milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets
• Oversee ticketing system (JIRA) and set priorities for resolution
• Track andsubmitpurchase orders; process credit card receipts andsubmitexpense reports.
• Support Facilities Manager with compiling documentation and data for internal reporting and leadership updates.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of facilitiesmaintenancecoordination experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, or similarhighly-regulatedmanufacturing environment - OR -High School Diploma and 6 years of experience
• Experience inERP systems (SAP, Infor LN, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

• Expert knowledge of facilities systems and improvement projects
• Experience with project management systems such as JIRA and CMMS software
• Occupational health & safety skills to include risk assessment, policy, training, project management, hazardous substances, and safety in manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge and practical experience in emergency management and / or occupational health and workplace hygiene

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work in environments with electrical hazards, chemical exposure, temperature variations, and noise
• Wear required PPE as assigned, which may include safety glasses, gloves, respirators, and/or other protective clothing for extended periods
• Move between buildings, labs, and work areas, as needed
• Lift, carry, push and pull materials and equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts as operational needs require

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base Pay Range (MD Only)

$30 - $37 USD
