Job summary

Fort Myers Broadcasting Co is seeking a reliable Facilities Coordinator to manage our fleet, coordinate vendor visits, and perform routine facility upkeep. The role involves maintenance tasks, light repairs, and ensuring a clean and functional environment across our sites.

Candidates should have experience with hand and electrical tools, basic HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and strong communication skills. Requires a high school diploma and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand and electrical tools; ability to read manuals/drawings.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
• Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s fleet of vehicles, keeping them clean and taking vehicles to vendors for minor mechanical work.
• Schedule and coordinate vendor appointments.
• Perform routine upkeep of facilities: repairs, lighting, restocking supplies, trash removal, and grounds maintenance.
• Touch up paint and maintain daily facility cleanliness.
• Travel to other properties as needed.

Facilities Coordinator

Seeking a reliable, self-motivated, proactive and skilled individual with proven experience in the maintenance field or other similar position, preferably in a business setting.

Responsibilities

• Handling the company’s fleet of vehicles
  • Keeping the fleet clean, performing minor tasks on the fleet and taking the fleet to various vendors for mechanical work
• Scheduling/Coordinating Vendor Appointments
• Performing essential upkeep tasks throughout our facilities
  • Various tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep to ensure our facilities are both tidy and functional
  • Changing lightbulbs
  • Restocking supplies as needed
  • Emptying trash as needed
  • Maintaining daily cleanliness of the facility and grounds
  • Touching up paint

Requirements

• Should have experience working with both hand and electrical tools with ability to read and utilize manuals and drawings
• Some basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems preferred
• Must be self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have clean driving record

Work Environment

• Combination of indoor technical facilities and outdoor sites
• May involve climbing, lifting equipment, and working in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel to other properties as needed.
• Clear verbal and written communication in person, by phone, and via video.
• Operate standard office equipment and software programs.
• Visual and auditory ability to review content.
