Job summary

Peraton seeks a Facilities (Controls) Technician at Fort Irwin, CA to perform preventive maintenance, inspect facilities, troubleshoot equipment using drawings and schematics, and read PLC ladder logic.

You will collect technical data, collaborate with other departments, and support customers. Extended workdays, occasional shifts, and a requirement to work in an air-conditioned computer room apply.

Qualifications

• Required: BS 0-2 years or HS 6-8; experience with electronic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.
• You must be able to obtain a trusted background check and pass a NCIC; US citizenship with proof of citizenship is required.
• Must possess and retain a valid Driver's License (Real ID).
• Desired: PLCs, electronic relays, UPS systems, fire detection systems, MS Office/Windows/MAXIMO, OSHA/NFPA70E safety training.

Target Salary Range

The rate / range per hour below represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
