Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a Facilities & Cleaning Technician in Santa Ana, CA to perform general facilities maintenance, custodial tasks, and appearance-related duties across the FBO. The role supports daily operations to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment for customers and staff.
Under minimal supervision, you will maintain facilities, assist with events, and coordinate with vendors while upholding safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Previous custodial, facilities, maintenance, janitorial, or similar experience preferred.
- Previous experience in FBO, aviation, hospitality, or customer-service environment is a plus.

Under minimal supervision, the Facilities & Cleaning Technician safely and effectively performs generalfacilitiesmaintenance, preventive maintenance, custodial services, and appearance-related tasks throughout the FBO. This positionis responsible formaintaininga clean, safe, and professional environment for customers, tenants, and employees while supporting daily FBO operations.
Under minimal supervision, the Facilities & Cleaning Technician safely and effectively performs generalfacilitiesmaintenance, preventive maintenance, custodial services, and appearance-related tasks throughout the FBO. This positionis responsible formaintaininga clean, safe, and professional environment for customers, tenants, and employees while supporting daily FBO operations.
Safelymaintainthe facilityin accordance withall applicable government and regulatory requirements whiledemonstratingsafe work practices.
Respond to facilities requests andassistthe Facilities and Ground Service Equipment Mechanic.
Support the team with employee moves, events, visitors, shipping or receiving, and all other related tasks.
Clean and maintain FBO offices, conference rooms, pilot lounges, restrooms,toiletskitchens, andcommon areas.
Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, andmaintainall interior and exterior flooring.
Clean andmaintainaircrafthangar floors, including sweeping, scrubbing, pressure washing (whenappropriate), and removing debris, oil stains, and other contaminants.
Wash, detail, vacuum, andmaintaincustomer, courtesy, shuttle vehicles, golf carts, and other FBO vehicles.
Washdishesand put them away accordingly.
Empty trash receptacles, replenish consumable supplies, andmaintaincleanliness throughout the facility.
Clean windows, furniture, fixtures, appliances, and other facility surfaces.
Support employee moves,special events, visitors, shipping/receiving, and facility setup activities.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as directed andassistwith oversight of on-site work.
Identifyfacility deficiencies and recommend or perform corrective actions.
Maintain tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies in a safe and organized manner.
Assistwith exterior cleanliness including sidewalks, ramps, entryways, and landscaped areas.
Comply withall company policies, procedures, and practices.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned in support of FBO operations.
Create strong customer relations and deliver customer-centric solutions.

Able tocomply withall safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely.
Ability tomaintainregular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Pass pre-employment drug testing and background check

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, direct interface, over telephoneand in writing.

Schedules are subject to change. Employees must be available to work flexible hours as changesoccur,examples include overtime, holidays, and covering time-off for the team.
Ability to work without direct management supervision.
Must be comfortable with working outdoors, day,nightand in all weather conditions.
The following functions may be performed in variable weather and environmental conditions such as jet engine fumes, dust, or noise.
Step up and down stairs, ladders, and vehicles.
Work effectively while sitting, standing, walking, or running.
Able to engage safely and effectively in gross and fine motor control movements such as operating machinery, companyvehiclesand handheld tools.

Complete tasks safely and effectively that require hand and eye coordination.
Lift, carry, push, and pull objects (broomsticks, ladders, power tools etc.) from ground level to waist and overhead, up to 75 lbs.
Bending and stooping to pick up tools, and other equipment, up to 75 lbs.
Standing and walking for extended periods of time, running whenrequired.
Must be able to reason, analyze, and solve problems.
Must be able to communicate clearly with clients,leadershipand others.
Basic computer skills.
Musthave basic math skills.
