Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking janitors for our Troy, MI location to maintain a clean facility by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash.

Responsibilities include cleaning windows, restrooms, and public areas, restocking supplies, receiving deliveries, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. A high school diploma or GED, work authorization, and ability to lift 30+ pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check required.
• Drug screening required.
• Must be able speak, read, and understand oral and written instructions in English.
• Must have valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed to accommodate work required.
• Must be able to lift 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Observes facility standards of sanitation and safety in cleaning procedures.
• Maintains and cleans all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Dusts, cleans and/or polishes all surfaces; cleans windows and doors.
• Cleans, disinfects, monitors, and maintains restrooms, corridors, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Receives deliveries and puts away supplies; stocks cleaning and paper supplies.
