Job summary

Potawatomi Federal Solutions is seeking a Janitor for our Dutch Harbor, AK location. This on-call, 4-hour-per-week position involves cleaning duties across residential and clinical buildings to maintain a clean and orderly environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months custodial experience, and the ability to pass federal background checks. A valid driver’s license and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience in custodial services.
• Ability to pass background checks by Federal Agencies (e.g., DOD, DHS, FAA) to obtain security access badges.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a pre-employment background test.
• Must pass functional capacity test.
• Must be free of communicable disease.

Responsibilities

• Empties and cleans trash containers.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Maintains a clean and orderly cart and storage areas.
• Mops, vacuums, and sanitizes hallways, offices, restrooms and common areas.
• May assist in laundry and linen removal.
• Replenishes supplies and amenities as required.
• May perform light maintenance such as changing bulbs.
