Obsolete Site is seeking a diligent cleaner to maintain cleanliness in rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. The role involves operating industrial cleaning equipment and ensuring sanitation of toilets and other facilities to high standards.

Work is typically indoors, with some risk from heavy equipment. You will need to manage cleaning supplies and follow safety procedures while performing routine cleaning tasks to keep facilities in good condition.

Qualifications

• Ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade.
• Ability to follow instructions and read signs.
• Basic knowledge of common cleaning solvents and sanitizing solutions.
• Be able to troubleshoot and perform minor repair and maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, corridors, stairways and other areas.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment for rugs, drapes, etc.
• Clean, disinfect and deodorize toilet facilities.
• Wash walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt.
• Maintain stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.
