Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations at an assigned site in New Jersey, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. You will delegate tasks, guide teams, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the buildings.

The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed. A strong focus on communication and timely execution is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Ensure security of keys and access badges for the property.
• Monitor and document client communications and job completion.
• Train new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
