Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation within assigned buildings or client sites. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and offers on-the-job training.

You will be flexible to meet client specifications and contribute to a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, waste disposal, window cleaning, and light carpet care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate a compactor if needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitation supplies.
• Follow the established housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
