ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, has an opening for a full-time JANITOR at SE - 3700 6th Street SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm or 3:00 pm–11:30 pm.

Requires at least 1 year of janitorial experience; pay is $16.92 per hour. ESFM self-performs 80% of all IFM solutions and serves clients across Life Science, Technology, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Requirement: At least 1 year of janitorial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
