Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor in Springfield, MO. This part-time role involves all-purpose cleaning and upkeep of client sites. You will perform duties per the site’s specifications and work with a friendly team.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, trash disposal, and basic maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent required; on-the-job training provided; weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Perform other duties as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
