Job summary

NANA Management Services in Anchorage is seeking a cleaning associate to perform a wide range of cleaning tasks across hallways, offices, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas. You will scrub, mop, vacuum, sanitize, restock supplies, and handle light maintenance as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of cleaning experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and callouts.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience that shows working knowledge of cleaning equipment and methods.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and callouts.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Must meet health vaccination requirements per Executive Order 14042 (vaccination by 2021-12-08).

Responsibilities

• Clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize and/or restock hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dust low and high surfaces; wipe and clean various surfaces.
• Remove and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and solutions for tasks.
• Maintain clean and orderly carts and storage areas.
• May assist in laundry/linen removal and restock guest amenities.
• May scrub, strip, extract, wax and buff floors with proper equipment.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Report discrepancies, damage or theft to management.
