Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of designated areas inside a building or multiple client sites, with flexibility to meet client specifications.

Position pays $14 per hour with a 35-hour work week (Mon-Sun 6a-11a). Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions. On-the-job training will be provided and opportunities exist across commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrance areas.
Empty trash and use compactors when required.
Clean windows and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
Replenish paper products and supplies.
Adhere to housekeeping schedule.
Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
