Job summary

Macon-Bibb County Government is seeking a Custodial Maintenance Worker to perform cleaning and upkeep of county buildings. Responsibilities include floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and restroom sanitation, with stocking and inventory duties.

Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of custodial experience. Valid Georgia driver’s license and OSHA training in chemical exposure and blood-borne pathogens are required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors.

• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock to supervisor.
• Shelve supplies and transport materials.
