ABM is seeking a dependable Utility Technician to support a building by performing cleaning, basic maintenance, and light tasks. The role emphasizes safe, thorough cleaning, timely reporting of hazards, and strong client communication to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
