Job summary

Beacon mental health is seeking a full-time Facilities Cleaner to maintain a safe and clean facility and grounds. Core duties include cleaning building interiors, restrooms, and common areas, while managing supplies and basic repairs.

Strong communication and confidentiality are essential to interact with a diverse client population. Requires a High School diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning products, equipment, and proper storage.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interact with a diverse population.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of buildings including floors, carpets, windows, and walls.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and disinfect commonly touched surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and place orders when needed.
• Clean exterior grounds and remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
• Empty trash and recycling, dust furniture, and perform minor equipment repairs.
• Notify staff of unsafe conditions and follow safety procedures.
