Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a reliable Lead to ensure facility operations comply with policies and procedures at our Lexington location. The Lead delegates tasks, guides staff, and provides supervision when the Manager is away.

The role includes operating equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing janitorial duties while maintaining safety standards and strong communication with management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS diploma/GED not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Oversee cleaning operations and ensure quality of work.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Record time for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Train new hires and onboard them to procedures.
• Check supplies, equipment and chemicals weekly.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
