Job summary

ABM Industries in Tampa, FL seeks a reliable Lead to supervise daily facility operations, delegate tasks, and guide the team in alignment with company policies. The Shift Leader will cover supervision when the Manager is absent and ensure buildings remain clean and safe for workers and customers.

The role involves coordinating schedules, training new hires, managing access, reporting issues, and supporting janitorial duties as needed to maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Provide open communication between field employees and management.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged or out-of-service items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in the building.
• Ensure quality and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
