Job summary

ABM Industries in Ohio is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across our facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

You will work independently, use standard cleaning chemicals and equipment, and follow safety procedures to maintain hygiene standards and support event setup and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial/cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste per policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
