Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
• Knowledge of basic janitorial duties is helpful.
• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.
• Must maintain a neat appearance and may be required to wear a uniform.

Responsibilities

• Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed in carpeted areas, lunchrooms, restrooms, and non-carpeted areas.
• Dust and clean tops of office furniture, cleared desks, and surfaces of tables.
• Vacuum all carpeting and sweep/mop floors where required.
• Clean glass on lobby doors and wipe down surfaces in restrooms and break areas.
• Move cabinets and equipment as needed to access areas for cleaning.
