Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking an Exceptional Team Member to maintain daily cleanliness and overall upkeep of public and operational spaces within the building.

You will respond to special requests and work orders to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of Porter experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills essential for interacting with tenants and staff.
• Ability to engage in face-to-face discussions at all professional levels.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move as needed throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to keep areas tidy.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Restock restroom supplies.
• Wipe down doors, windows and high-touch surfaces.
• Respond promptly to spills and tenant requests.
• Assist with moving furniture and setting up spaces for events.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are well maintained.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.
