ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform thorough cleaning duties across assigned facilities, maintaining a clean and safe environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

The role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently, with familiarity of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to ensure high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
