Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, seeks a maintenance technician to perform general maintenance, carpentry, and project work. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of one year of experience in general maintenance.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Preferred: ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform new duties with minimal guidance
• Assist with projects and respond to emergent repairs.
• Perform routine and non-routine duties independently
• Diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions
• Understand technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the job
• Use power tools to complete tasks and projects
• Complete and/or assist with carpentry projects
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Maintain outside grounds
• Give general assistance to supervisor
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Majority of time spent on various construction, drywall, and carpentry projects
• Working independently and in a team environment on internal construction projects of various size and scope
• Performs other duties as assigned
