Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Plant Facilities Engineer to maintain, improve and optimize our Albany, OR facility’s mechanical and electrical systems. You will lead capital projects from concept to commissioning, collaborating with Maintenance, Production, Quality, EHS, and Engineering to improve asset reliability and energy efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering, 5+ years of industrial facilities experience, and strong project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in supporting industrial facilities and mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve facility mechanical systems including HVAC, utilities, plumbing, and process utilities.
• Lead facility capital projects from scope through commissioning, budgeting, scheduling, and close-out.
• Develop project justifications, cost estimates, and ROI analyses for funding requests.
• Manage capital project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance for on-time delivery.
• Analyze and troubleshoot facility system performance to ensure reliable operations.
• Plan and execute upgrades of obsolete facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Review technical specs, bid packages, and scopes of work for equipment and services.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to minimize production impact.
• Oversee contractors during construction, modification, installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety requirements, and company policies.
