The Greenspring Montessori School Facilities Assistant is hard-working, responsible, reliable, and the “go-to” person on campus. This individual must be willing to do whatever is needed from security to mowing grass, moving furniture, and cleaning up spills. Greenspring Facilities Assistant takes pride in their work, maintains a positive attitude, enjoys children, demonstrates professionalism with families, staff, and children, and is kind and courteous.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain and inspect the grounds, buildings, and playgrounds
• Make necessary repairs and maintenance checks to all facility equipment, ensuring all are in good working order
• Check on classrooms daily for cleanliness and check for potential overnight concerns
• Diligently check campus for safety
• Friendly demeanor with staff and families
• Clean up spills and messes
• Direct traffic
• Mow, trim, mulch, weed, and maintain beautiful grounds
• Keep sidewalks clear of all debris (snow, leaves, etc.)
• Oversee set-up for all school functions
• Make runs for supplies and materials for repairs
• Maintain an inventory of hand tools

POSITION DETAILS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
