Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT represents a large dairy facility located in New York seeking an experienced Facilities and Special Projects Manager. You will work with the owner and employees to ensure smooth operation, keep facilities in good repair, and lead any special projects which may include cement, water, electrical, pumps, lawns, driveways, and buildings.

Collaboration with site managers and outside personnel is essential.

Qualifications

• General understanding of farm operations.
• Mechanically inclined and able to diagnose mechanical issues.
• Experience with farm equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem solving skills and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Experience with building maintenance and repairs on farm facilities.
• Experience leading special projects (cement, water, electrical, pumps, lawns, driveways, buildings).

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine facilities maintenance to keep the dairy facility in good repair.
• Coordinate and lead special projects with site managers, outside personnel and owner.
• Diagnose problems, schedule repairs, and order parts/supplies.
• Work with owner and staff to ensure smooth operations of the facility.
