Overview

Salary $55,000 year

Scope of Position: Provide guidance and coaching to jobseekers. Engage participants in online and technology-based learning, as well as provide user management, tracking and reporting, and support curriculum enhancements and improvements.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Create and maintain an environment that promotes opportunities for quality interaction and learning through:
    • Establishing clear expectations and encouraging client accountability
    • Implementing a structure and plan consistent with prescribed curriculum goals
    • Maintaining an awareness of differences in individual learning styles and strengths
  • Model positive and professional behavior
    • Demonstrate positive, pro-social interactions with clients, staff, and community representatives
    • Use written and spoken language effectively
    • Use language reflective of a commitment to diversity; demonstrate cultural competence
    • Model respect and professionalism in all situations
  • Support customers in online course registration and troubleshooting
  • Assist customers with log in, registration and any questions
  • Record customer services and track use of online programs
  • Recommend technical enhancements and additional matrices to current curricula
  • Update online training guides and website
  • Develop materials, manuals tests and related training aids
  • Facilitate orientation sessions
