Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Board eligible/certified and fellowship-trained candidates will join a high-quality academic and clinical program.

Responsibilities include leadership within a collaborative facial plastics team, operative care across aesthetic and reconstructive cases, and active participation in resident education and clinical

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
  • Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology with fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
  • Ability to obtain PA medical license and narcotics registrations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgeries.
  • Collaborate with neurosurgery, dermatology, Mohs surgery, plastics and oculoplastics teams.
  • Contribute to education of medical students, residents and fellows and participate in research.

The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

What we’re seeking:
  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  • BC/BE in Otolaryngology and completion of a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship
  • Experience in a wide spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery is desired
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
  • A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education and research/scholarly activity is necessary
  • Building a presence at our multiple sites
  • Ability to work with a strong facial plastic surgery team including faculty, nurses, and advanced practice providers
