URMC seeks a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join three academic otolaryngology specialists in Rochester. The role includes teaching, research, and quality improvement within a collaborative environment, with opportunities for subspecialization in cosmetic procedures and oculoplastic interests.

The candidate will participate in a full range of facial plastic surgery and reconstruction, supported by a strong referral network and institutional resources for clinician-scientists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarly activity.
• Building a cosmetic practice; interest or experience in oculoplastic procedures desirable.
• Successful candidate will practice the full range of facial plastic surgery and reconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives within an academic environment.
• Resident teaching is expected, with protected research time and resources.
• Provide clinical care in craniofacial and reconstructive facial plastic surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within URMC and Strong Memorial Hospital.

Compensation and Benefits

• Expected salary range: 300k – 500k
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries
