Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a Façade Project Engineer to oversee façade execution on high-rise residential, commercial and data center projects in the United States. You will review drawings, coordinate with architects and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing shop drawings, monitoring fabrication and installation, conducting site inspections, coordinating mock-ups and testing, and delivering as-built

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in façade execution for high-rise residential, commercial, data center, or mixed-use projects.
• Knowledge of façade installation methodologies, quality standards, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and façade design requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors regarding façade works.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and material submittals.
• Ensure façade systems comply with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, and erection activities of curtain walls, glazing, cladding, ACP, louvers, skylights, and other façade elements.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to façade installation.
• Check dimensional accuracy, alignment, waterproofing, sealant application, and structural integrity of façade components.
• Coordinate mock-ups, performance testing, and third-party inspections.
• Review material procurement schedules and monitor delivery to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and HSE requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate snag rectification and ensure timely closure of punch-list items.
• Support project handover activities and provide as-built documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-15 years of experience in faade execution for high-rise residential, commercial, data center, or mixed-use projects.
• Experience in curtain wall systems, glazing, ACP cladding, stone cladding, and building envelope works.
• Knowledge of faade installation methodologies, quality standards, and safety practices.
